WELCOME TO PENCH NATIONAL PARK
Nestled in the Southern slopes of the Satpura range of Central India lies Pench National Park famous for its hills, forests, valleys, and the diverse flora and fauna. It derives its name from the river “Pench” that drifts through the park from North to South stretching across two states – Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
The famous Jungle Book written by Rudyard Kippling has all the characters to be traced out in Pench starting from the man-cub “MOWGLI” to “BALOO” the bear, and “SHER KHAN” the tiger. The population of tigers in Pench is over 53 with an additional 80 utilising the reserve, boosting the number of sighting

CORE ZONE in Turia
Core zones include protected areas, as they act as reference points on the natural state of the ecosystems represented by the biosphere reserves.
- Turia Gate:Turia gate is located approximately 2 kms from the lodge. Morning, Afternoon and Night safaris are available from this gate.
- Jhamtara Gate:Navegaon gate is located approximately 50 kms from the resort. Morning and Afternoon safaris are available from this gate.
- Karmajhiri Gate:Pangdi gate is located approximately 80 kms from the resort. Morning and Afternoon safaris are available from this gate.
BUFFER ZONE
The area that surrounds or adjoins the core areas where nature is conserved
- Teliya: Teliya Buffer gate is located approximately 5 kms from the resort. Morning and Afternoon safaris are available from this gate
- Khawasa: Khawasa Buffer gate is located approximately 8kms from the resort. Morning and Afternoon safaris are available from this gate.
- Rukhad: Rukhad Buffer gate is located approximately 40kms from the resort. Morning and Afternoon safaris are available from this gate.
- Khursapar: Khursapar Buffer gate is located approximately 20kms from the resort. Morning and Afternoon safaris are available from this gate.
NIGHT SAFARI: EXPLORE PENCH AT NIGHT
Come to PENCH to experience the backwoods at night. An Experience in search of sparkling eyes and thus wilds in the dark forest. A three hour drive will help you in understanding the night life in a forest. You might even try and watch the round of prey – hunter in real life!!!
Explore the Nocturnal wilderness of Pench and also assist the forest department in patrolling the jungles with experienced naturalists and local guides.
- Turia Gate:Turia Night Safari gate is located approximately 2kms from the lodge.The night safari is for 3 hours from 6: 00 pm to 9:00pm.

- Khursapar: Khursapar Buffer gate is located approximately 18kms from the lodge. Morning and Afternoon safaris are available from this gate.
- Chorbauli : Chorbahuli Buffer gate is located approximately 8kms from the lodge. Morning and Afternoon safaris are available from this gate.
- Koltimaara : Kolitmara Buffer gate is located approximately 60kms from the lodge. Morning and Afternoon safaris are available from this gate.
SAFARI DURATION
The duration of the safari inside the Pench Tiger Reserve is for 3 hours each in the morning & afternoon.
SAFARI BOOKING
Safaris need to be booked well in advance to ensure availability. At the time of booking your trip, we advise to first get the safaris booked based on your requirement.
